The Laminated Glass Recycling Plant is designed to efficiently separate glass from the polymer interlayer through a fully mechanical process, enabling both materials to be recovered and reused. By transforming complex laminated glass waste into clean glass cullet and recyclable film, the system helps manufacturers and recyclers reduce disposal costs while creating additional value from waste materials.
The recycling process begins with controlled crushing and pre-treatment of the laminated glass. Rather than pulverizing the material excessively, the system applies optimized crushing technology to break the glass while maintaining the integrity of the interlayer. This approach improves downstream separation efficiency and maximizes material recovery.
After pre-crushing, the material enters the separation unit, where mechanical kneading and roller-based delamination technology gradually detach the glass fragments from the bonded film layer. The separated materials are then processed through a screening system that efficiently classifies glass particles and polymer film. Clean glass cullet is collected for reuse in glass manufacturing or other industrial applications, while the recovered PVB film can be further recycled or processed according to market requirements.
Unlike chemical-based treatment methods, the entire process operates mechanically without solvents, reducing environmental impact and eliminating the need for chemical handling. The enclosed processing structure also incorporates an integrated dust collection system to capture fine particles generated during crushing and separation, helping maintain a clean and safe production environment.
The system is suitable for a wide range of laminated glass materials, including automotive windshields, architectural laminated glass, safety glass panels, and manufacturing off-cuts. Depending on material characteristics and production requirements, customized solutions can be configured to achieve optimal recovery efficiency and product quality.
